Worth visiting!

Decent Places To Eat, Movies are expensive here though...

Really good variety of eating places: Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, 3 Diners “Windmill”, “3 Brothers”, “Holiday” diner… Great hot dogs go to JK’s, great ice cream go to Double Twister, or Friendlys. Want great hamburgers try Sycamore (which is in Bethel, but right around the corner from Danbury)... Chili to die for… Sycamore and at the Sycamore you can get old fashion service right at your car during the summer months. I would skip on going to the movies, at 9 dollars a pop, just the ticket – that’s too expensive for my tastes…

We have the mall of course, great diners, great restaurants including many brazillian delights from our 1/4 population of latin/brazil and hispanic communities…

Places to Shop, While The Mall Is A Wonderful Place To visit, it is very beautiful – it is also expensive…. so dedepeneding what you are looking for, we probably have a department store or speciality store that is much more reasonalable in price & much better service: a few I can think of off the top of my head:

Target, Walmart, Kmart, paperback book exchange, Bobs Stores, Dress Barn, Linens & Things, The Christmas Tree Shop, Toys R Us, The Bagel Man.

IF you like duckpin bowling we have that in Danbury, but if you want regular bowling you have to drive north on 7 about 3 miles til you reach Brookfield and there is a full-service bowling alley, with snack bar, and real bar, video games and more.

Kids like roller skating or roller blading, we got a place just for you… Fun Stop – on Mill Plain Road, full service skating rink, with snack bar, and video games.

mid-to-expensive dining would include Jim Barberies, Stake House, and more… I will update this list, as I track down the names & addresses of the restaurant that are at least worth a look.
