That is what most people say about the country; which is why for my first solo traveling trip I booked Thailand as my first destination.
But with the recent activities there and my flight leaving in about a week; I don’t know what to do. I do not know if it will still be safe and as wonderful as you all describe to go now.
I need help deciding if I should still go.

I’d actually advice you not to go now. Perhaps wait for the situation there to calm down a bit?
If you’ve bought the air ticket already, I think they would refund you if you ask for it? I’m not sure bout that, but apparently my friends got their refunds cause it seems really dangerous right now..
I really hope that the activities there would end soon, it’s very upsetting that everyone just has to cancel their trip there.
