Worth visiting!

A rumor about this place

I will be taking the show on the road here starting Monday, December 1st. I hope to be back home again on the 6th.

In the meantime, I have a hunch that I won’t be doing a lot of posting or cheering for the next week. Don’t give up on me though I’ll be back.

I’ll be with my boss and some of my peers attending a national conference.

I hope to have enough free time to be able to check a few things out and take a few pictures. I’m looking forward to seeing the National Christmas Tree, and to hopefully get into the Museum of American History if they are finished remodelling it yet.

If there’s free internet access at my hotel (doubtful) I’ll check in. Otherwise don’t hold your breath.

Kicking myself

When I saw your tagline I should have figured out that the “where” you were going to was Washington DC! I remember your mentioning that you were going there in December back when you wrote about the National Christmas Tree. I was going to hold onto that piece of information, and it just fell right out of my head.

I hope you are having a good time and you get to visit the Museum of American History and see the tree. Take pictures!

Been there and back

I got back from DC late Saturday afternoon. It was much later than anticipated, thanks to some aircraft problems along the way. I finally rolled into the house around 4:45 Saturday afternoon, about three hours later than anticipated.

I’m catching up, but will have a few things to post here shortly.
