Worth visiting!

Peregian Beach, Noosa

I live in a small beachside town called Peregian Beach. It is located at the southern end of the Noosa Shire, Queensland, Australia. It is very quiet here, and often all I can hear are the birds singing – not a car or human sound at all.

The white sandy beaches go for miles – all the way north to Sunshine Beach and south to Coolum Beach. Some days you might not see another person, or there may be a lone fisherman in the evenings.

My house backs on to the National Park, giving us lots of wildlife. A goanna came to visit the other day and there was once a koala in the tree outside my bedroom window. There are also a lot of mosquitos, which spoil any idea of al fresco dinners!
