A number of years ago I went on a Pooh ride at Disney World with a girlfriend. She’s about 10 years younger than me and a HUGE Tigger fan. Her enthusiasm made it really fun, even though I happened to be pretty sick at the time.
I remember the highlight of our visit to the Pooh area was getting to meet Tigger!! They had a medium-sized line to wait in. I told my friend she HAD to get in line and meet him after coming all the way across the country and getting so close. She is the biggest Tigger fan I know. She resisted at first saying everybody else had little kids to go meet Tigger. But I told her that did not matter and you are never too old for that.
So I made her stand in line with me, and when we got to the front of the line I acted the part of the parent holding her jacket and taking pictures while she went up to meet Tigger. She was as giggly as a little one, I tell you and SO happy. Tigger gave her some hugs and a big smooch on her cheek which made her giggle even more. I got a great picture of them. When she came back to get her jacket she said “gosh, I hope Tigger was a BOY!” Haha.
