On one of our family trips to NYC in December we took the train from Grand Central (just 20 minutes on Metro North) to the Bronx and saw the train show at the New York Botanical Garden. More than 100 New York city landmarks have been re-created from natural materials like bark and moss – so very cool. The rest of the garden is magnificent with an amazing glass conservatory and lots of interactive and beautiful exhibits.
