Liberia has been a very nice place to be indeed. Here’s hoping for good things for the Future.
I worked as a Nursing supervisor at Mamba Point Hospital, and really enjoyed myself.

I haven’t kept up on events, but not very long ago, it was one of the most dangerous places in the world, from what I heard. Bless you for your positive influence there!

I’m in Monrovia… and indeed, hope is tangible.
A lot of good can be done in Liberia. And the place is so beautiful. I’m just passing, but I might come back for longer… eventually…

Me?
I just left in October, so I’m not sure those photos are actually of me, but they are probably of someone who looked like me…the exhibit was up before I left…? but who knows, there was an awful lot of media attention…
I will apparently be in a documentary as well, which was a little over the top for me, since I generally keep a pretty low profile.
I’m glad you enjoyed Monrovia, it was one of my favorite missions ever, even though it was shortened….

There is an awful lot of memory work done in Monrovia at the moment. It looks like people really don’t want to forget.
To me, that’s amazing – it can be a preventive factor.

Oh I just looked at your pictures
Is that New Jacks? (The first one) I spent many a night there…but never once thought to take a photo of it!
Nice photos. Things haven’t changed too much (But then again I guess in 6 months not too much is going to change, except maybe get worse fast…)

Is there a place I need to know about? I’m not sure what pick you’re talking about. The only place I took a pic of that might remotely resemble a “night” place was Mamba Point, is that what you’re talking about?

I’m SURE that is NuJacks bar. It is right on Mamba Point, I lived but about 5000 feet away and spent a ton of time there, watching the guys play volleyball. It’s a nice place for Club beer.
