Oh no!

It looks like the Gherkin won’t be one of the buildings open to the public in this year’s Open House London event.

I’ll have to cross my fingers and hope that the owners decide to let it feature in the 2009 programme.

Open House is great

I was going to say that I participated a couple of years ago, but when I went searching it turns out it was THREE YEARS AGO – too long. It was difficult to post as an “event” on 43Places so I made it a place

It would be cool if they did include The Gherkin, but imagine the crowds.

Hmm, I’ve never quite worked out how to use Events, so great to find this as a Place! It’s now on my list :)

Events can be awkward

I try to use them for concerts or museum exhibits I really want to catch, but when you post an Event there has to be a specific PLACE to assign it to. For instance, you can’t just post an Event to London so I was frustrated and just made Open House a place of its own.

Don’t get me started on multi day Events…
