The wildflowers are GLORIOUS right now!
I accompanied a group of wildflower enthusiasts on a hike from Sunrise a couple of days ago and we were delighted to have been able to check off more than half the flowers and even some not listed on our flower ID charts. It was a great day for a hike and visibility was great so that the view from Emmons Vista was incredible . By the time we reached our “picnic rock” , I was ready to burst into song like Julie Andrews in Sound of Music – but decided against putting everyone through that misery!
