Worth visiting!
RIP Tiger Stadium.
In August 2006 when visiting the D, my sister and i ran around corktown for the afternoon. I had a feeling I might never see it again. Too bad they didn’t do something special with the field like the Corktown neighborhood suggested.

My favorite Tiger Stadium story, courtesy of my college room mate.
He was at a game there, and Cecil Fielder had gotten on base late in the game after hitting a home run or two (I forget because this isn’t my story). The crowd, for whatever reason started to chant, “Run, Cecil, run!” I laugh whenever I think about this.
The time I was there, I was pretty young and thought it was a lot like original-flavor Comiskey and not at all like Wrigley.

I have fond memories of Tiger Stadium as well.
I remember going to an Al Kaline appreciation double header in August of 1980.
