I am in Portland right now, after a grueling drive across the country in the shape of A giant U to avoid moutains a tiny honda civic would ahve trouble with and treacherous snowstorms. And as it turns out, I might just end up moving here. I really don’t know yet if I will or not… certain concerns have to be dealt with, but you should definitly come here. Portland is a wonderfully progressive, almost socialist city, with vast green parks, an excellent city center, delicious seafood, fine public transit, and most importantly it is cheap by west coast standards… and much cheaper than CHicago.
