I’m reading the book,The shipping News,and as so often happens made me think that I’d like to visit this land of barren rock,annoying mosquitoes,incest and fishing,among other things.Add to that one of my uncles worked there in the 70s and liked the people.
Having read more would like to know,do the people really drink tea?call beer bitter and lager?I thought those last two were only English terms.
