Na Bolom was our accommodation in San Cristobal during an adventure tour. It is both a hotel and a centre run to protect the Lacandon Maya. We stayed in rooms which had beautiful blankets, cushion covers and artwork by local craftsmen.

Dinner is served at a long communal table. That was an experience all on its own, with the opportunity to chat to all the other guests, some of whom were very knowledgable about the Maya.
