Worth visiting!

My favourite cafe in Edinburgh. Does a great quiche and has spectacular views up towards the castle. (JK Rowling wrote bits of the Harry Potter books here, too.)

Sorry. It’s now an Asian buffet restaurant and the manager isn’t happy about Harry Potter people trying to come and lurk around at the special table or whatever.

That was Nicholson’s on the Bridges. JK Rowling did write bits of HP there. I saw her once on TV, interviewed there.

I walked past it on November 25th, on George IV Bridge, great cafe.

Still there - hurrah.

Had lunch in the Elephant House on the weekend. Does a good quiche. Great views from the room at the back, overlooking the castle.
