Yes, always something happening. We witnessed a guy who’d been stabbed in the back collapse in front of us with blood gushing out, and get taken away in an ambulance while we were having a drink in a little square just off La Rambla. There were a couple of other unpleasant incidents as well while staying there, and I felt very uncomfortable about all the animals kept in the tiny little cages in the street stalls. Not for me!
