Olifants rest camp is situated on a hill overlooking the Olifants river. Many people believe that the camp has the most attractive setting in the park, and it is easy to agree.

The park retains all the original feel of the Kruger National Park with thatch rondavels, some overlooking the Olifants river below. There are several wonderful view sites within a few kilometers of the park.
