A review of this place: Rolls for days

I came here for lunch today and was incredibly impressed with the sushi menu. It’s three pages, two columns each, and full of interesting ingredients.

I went with another person and we ordered three rolls. We split the crunch roll, which was pretty standard: spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, eel, and crunch topping.

I ordered the Chelsea roll, which was interesting. Smoked salmon, which was salty without being overpowering, tomato, which I’ve never had in sushi before but had a really good, subtle flavor, onion and shrimp. Instead of seaweed, it was wrapped in soy paper soaked in lemon juice.

My lunch companion ordered the Jason & Michelle roll. (I assume they name them after customers.) It was filled with avocado, asparagus, and spicy pork, and-here’s where it gets interesting- they deep fry it and top it with teriyaki sauce. I only had one, but it was delicious.

I’m definitely planning on coming back to sample some more of their menu.
