Anyone who has ever flown owes it to themselves to go to the birthplace of aviation. There is something magical about standing at the exact spot where man first flew, while commercial jets pass overhead.

While we were there we were talking about exactly the same thing. Did you find the small private plane airstrip that is behind the memorial? It was neat to watch the single seaters, too… left us thinking more about the memory of what people were feeling at the time of first flights—and how the Brothers persistance left such a beautiful legacy of freedom for the world.
