“Best weather in the city.” That’s the first thing any current or former San Franciscan will say when you mention Potrero Hill. And it’s true.

San Francisco "sunbelt"
The sunbelt runs from Noe Valley, through the Mission and Potrero Hill, and on towards the bay. I’ve seen this from the air—the fog splits on Twin Peaks and a gap opens up over these neighborhoods. Sometimes the rest of the city is fogged in while we (and the Mission) have sun.
