I’ve been to several WW2 memorials but I think this was my first one in the USA and I’m from here. I liked the quotes, that the states and territories were recognized, as well as locations of the war. I found this memorial much more moving after the recent death of my grandfather, a WW2 veteran. The memorial is big and scenic but I know others didn’t like it (controversy when it was built that it would obstruct the view).
