Q'BA

Worth visiting!

My Favorite Restaurant in Delhi!  — 2 years ago

Oh, how I miss Q’BA. Excellent food, beautiful interior, a staff of 30 or so who all called me “Mr. Brian,” drinks under the table before they got their liquor license… and, the night I left India, they made me a cake that said “Goodbye, Mr. Brian. We will miss you. Your friends at Q’BA.”

Brilliant place. If you’re remotely close, go there for lunch or dinner. Lunch is a lot more chill.

DO you have an address?

And any other advice on a one day stay in New Delhi?

Yes and Yes

E-42/43, Connaught Place (inner circle), New Delhi-1

Ha, they even have a website .

If you only have one day, I’d say hit Old Delhi as much as possible. You have to see the Jamma Masjid and the Red Fort. Then just walk around and get lost in the labrynth (watch your wallet, though, btw).

Other than that, a tour of Imperial Delhi never hurts. Very interesting architecture. If you have time to prepare in advance, I’d say get the book “City of Djinns” by William Dalrymple. Brilliant book, and it’ll really give you a flavor of the city and its’ history.
