Worth visiting!

Ipswich is hot!

We drove through Ipswich. It is extremely hot and dry! I was told it was hotter than Brisbane, and they were right!

Driving through, there doesn’t seem to be a lot to do from first impressions.

Although I have selected Worth Visiting, I’m on the fence about this. I was happy to drive through because at least I have visited Ipswich, but I don’t think I would come back to stay.

Strange weather

Yeah – it’s a funny thing about the weather in Ipswich. The change in temperature from night to day is more extreme than most places. I stayed there for a week once… and all week is was 34C during the day (in the 90’s F) and 4C at night (in the late 30’s F).

We were rugging up with quilts and hotwater bottles at night, only to wake up feeling sick from the heat of that in the morning.
