Worth visiting!

If you’ve ever driven from I-40 to Branson, you’ve driven through Marshall. If you’ve ever floated down the Buffalo River, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve driven through Marshall. If you’ve stopped at the one stop light between Clinton and Harrison on HWY 65… You were in Marshall. Its a quite town not much to it… Lots of good swimmin’ holes, fishing spots, floatin’ down the river in a canoe. They also have one of the few drive in movie theatres left in the country I’ve heard and most nights you can go see a fairly new movie showin there. Make sure you stop at the Daisy Queen… Real milkshakes… Yum! If you keep going through Marshall there’s a resturant called Fergusens, they actually make furniture, but its pretty good food, lots of quilts and fun Hillbilly stuff. They have really nice funiture, all hand made there. They have a show room and usually you are welcome to look it over… There’s a lot of off road back country roads you can explore in Marshall, but to easy to get lost if you’re not a local. So if you’re driving through town stop off at the Daisy Queen for a shake then head over to the show. Maybe you can rent a little cabin at silver creek, and have breakfast at fergusons before heading on up to Eureka Springs, or Silver Dollar City, Branson… Where ever you’re headed… Its the journey, not the destination… Check out all those antique shops! They’ve got some good stuff, and if you happen to be there in August… Well there’s the ever so popular JUNK FEST… One mans trash is another man’s treasure, and if you’re lookin this is the place to be… MILES of people line up for the red neck swap meet… Have fun!
