We booked with Papillon (www.papillon.com), with the Imperial Air Tour (starting from the South Rim, but seeing sights through the North Rim.) Only drawback – it’s about $200 per adult, for an hour long ride. WORTH EVRY PENNY.
One thing though. You may hear of the ‘SkyWalk’ thing, the glass bridge over the canyon? DON’T DO IT. It’s a waste of time and money, with $75 a person, only 15 minutes on the bridge, and no cameras – the helicopter ride is SO much better (it’s even set to music!)

Try and see all there is (though it’s an impossible task – it’s something you’ll never just get used to. It taks your breath away every time you see it. ) and don’t be afraid to get up close to the edge! (though trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds!)
Another cool thing to try and buy (found at many of the front stores in the park ) is a “passport” – you can get stamps and cool marks for every national park across the nation, with the date you got it stamped. It’s something nifty to remember your travels by, and will be a cool keepsake to pass on to the kids one day.
