Over the past few months a group of teen-agers have been beating up people up. The most recent was a man about 28 years old. They overpowered him and left him bloodied but alive.

A about a year ago there was a shooting one block west of here. A man was holed up in his house with a rifle and held his girlfriend hostage for a few hours. Police eventually stormed the house and found him dead inside.

In years past there have been shoots fired at Kane’s Harely Davidson (about six blocks away) as well as numerous Police responses to knife fights.
