Changu or otherwise called Tsomgo is about 40 kms away from Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, a eastern Himalayan state of India. The oval shaped lake is about 1 km long and it’s on the way to Nathu La, that borders China. Even in summer months it snows in Changu and the lake is a veritable sheet of ice during winter months.
