I have lived on Portland for just over 1 year. It’s the nearest I’ve been to living on an island. It’s called “The Isle of Portland” but is actually a peninsular. It’s the home of Portland stone, the stone that St Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, is made from, and many other famous buildings too.
