Lived in upstate New York… actually western NY in ski country my whole life. It is a gorgeous grape growing region in the summer and good for some skiing during the winter! If anyone wants a liesurely vacation upstate NY is good for that. Be sure to visit Niagra on the Lake, the Finger Lakes, Allegheny Mtns, and some ski resorts (Holiday Valley!)
