Why I want to go to this place  — 9 months ago

It’s been a goal since I heard the name in an old Bing Crosby & Bob Hope movie. It sounded so exotic (keep in mind I was watching a 1930s film in the 1970s).

I really want to say I’ve been to Timbuktu. I don’t care what’s there or how difficult it is, I want to go.

As for directions, I think you turn right at BFE and keep going straight.

of this place. When I was little, my parents always threatened to ship me off to Timbuktu if I didn’t behave!
