Worth visiting!
The last time I went to this place — 7 months ago
I was on my way home after living in Korea for a third time.
Lots of shopping.

Lots of shopping and lots of bars. I visited Itaewon in 1995 and 1996. It’s near the main U.S. Army Base, and the place was crawling with soldiers.
The shopping was great. I remember lots of knock off NFL jerseys, leather wares, and other cheap goodies.
The food selection wasn’t all that great. There was American fast food and other stuff. The bars were NOT a good deal and the atmosphere sucked.
Every American should check Itaewon out when in Seoul.
