Worth visiting!
I’m an American, but right now my top choice university is actually McGill, located none other than Montreal. I’ve never been to Montreal, but I hear it’s beautiful, and if I do end up going to McGill, I can’t wait to start experiencing the city. Of course, I’ll visit before I go to make my final college decision.

Montréal is a very European flavoured cosmopolitan city. The fashion is a bit different than other parts of North America and the culture seems a bit more eclectic too. I’m sure that you would enjoy it and have quite an interesting experience. I don’t live too far from Montréal, in eastern Ontario. Thanks for the cheer and nice brown eyes! ;)

I nearly went to McGill (my only choice outside the UK) but finally decided to study at NUS (Singapore) in order to be near my family. I often wonder what would have been, especially since I visited Montreal more than 10 years later and discovered what a wonderful place it was.
My hubby started his Doctorate studies at the Montreal Polytechnique and has made a few wonderful friends who still live there : a brilliant and really funny Indian guy and his French Canadian wife, a French Canadian couple with a love for music (he’s really brilliant at the guitar and could he sing!) and who make the best crèpes au sarrasin with molasses in the world!
