I spent an evening in Lucca in March this year. It is one of the most amazing places to visit. It is a walled city and it is almost like it is in another world. It is medievalThe streets are narrow, laundry hanging out to dry outside windows. The design of the city, with everything developed around the main piazza in true Roma style. The church in the square, the small cafes. Now while this might sound like any other Italian precinct, Lucca has a personality of its own. Afterall it is one of Italy’s largest olive oil producing regions.
