If you’re looking for a great hike at Tent Rocks Canyon, contrary to it’s placement here… it’s not in Albuquerque, but it is close. It’s a national monument, located on BLM lands: 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe and 55 miles northeast of Albuquerque – the nearest town is Cochiti Pueblo, so you’ll want to start you adventure by climbing into a car, bring plenty of water.. and be advised that it’s not within cell phone coverage.
