Why would someone go to Meerbusch? It’s a small and quiet city, just about 50K inhabitants scattered over 8 small comunities. Nevertheless Meerbusch is beautifully located on the banks of the river Rhine and very centrally in Nordrhein-Westfalen which makes the city a good place to stay and to discover its surroundings. Düsseldorf is just 15 mins by subway, Cologne is just 30 mins by car, the Ruhr-Area is just 30 mins to the North and even Amsterdam (just 2 hours) or Paris (4 hours by car) are in easy reach.
