lasagna while dining alone in Sao Paulo

Since travelling took three troubling trys TAMwise, treated myself to fine Italian dining early this afternoon and sought a light supper tonight

Decided that something carry out will go well with the cashews and beer in the minibar

With my limited Portuguese, discussed three possible payment options and proudly obtained a small ham and cheese lasagna, light on the tomato sauce

Alas, it is frozen, proving that my Portuguese is indeed limited.

There are two ready heat sources in my quarters – my laptop, which to my newfound gratitude overheats regularly, and the shower.

The lasagna is currently “in the making” pressed against the hottest part of the laptop and I can feel it starting to work as solidified sauce yields to the heat and pressure of the overbearing computer. It feels like a geology experiment trying to illustrate rock metamorphasis or fossilization of extinct fish.

When I have had enough computing for now, I plan to finish making the lasagna in the shower. In fact, I was going to call this entry “Showering with Lasagna” but the untitled parent of this comment led so naturally to getting the lasagna adventure “in the making!” now. Of course, I will have to keep the plastic bag tight or sauce shall share showering with me far more intimately than I would consent.
