Weather in November ranges from 9-18 degrees Celsius (about 47-64 degrees F). Most daytime temps are cool but not cold and comfortable. First half of the month daytime temps will be mostly in the mid 60’s (17-18 degrees C). Last half mostly in the high 50’s (15 degrees C).

It is also about the dryest time of year there so expect a little rain but not very much (winter rainfall is about 1/3 that of their summer rainy season).

For high fashion try Maison Mode, located at No.1312, Huaihai Lu. Huaihai Lu in general is “the” area for lots of expensive, high-end shopping.

For bargains try Shan Xi Nan Lu, Huai Hai Zhong Lu and Chang Shu Lu.

The main commercial road is called Nanjing Lu and also has tons of shopping.
