I’m going camping here in December, weather permitting. Have heard very good things about it, and it’s close to Ventura and Santa Barbara, both of which I very much enjoy.

i used to visit carpinteria every year when i was a kid. i remember the squirrels being really friendly, especially if you fed them pine nuts (odd). go out in the early morning hours, though, because the eddies are awesome.
