Piroshky-Piroshky

Worth visiting!

A Record  — 1 year ago

This is the quickest I have added a place to my list and then checked it off without having already been there when I added it.

I came across russellviii’s entry about this place this morning and later decided to go here to pick up lunch. I had a ham, cheese and spinach piroshky. Yum!

I wonder where R8 is these days?

I was wondering the same thing. I bet real life is keeping him busy. Maybe he’ll have more time for 43T/P when he finishes the duplex remodel.

Right you are

My real life has kept me away from here for days at a time. I miss all of you. It’s great fun to trade quips with a master like ToddieM.

This remodeling job is taking way longer than I had anticipated. It has been a long haul, but I think that I see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s either the light or an oncoming train. I should know for sure later this week.

I miss the drollness that is R8.

You are too kind

Plus you probably figured that I’d never run across this entry. :-)

It’s good to be back on, if even for a few hours.

I hope to be back again full time in the very near future.

Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast.

Could we have kippers for breakfast?

Mummie dear, mummie dear?
That avatar of yours looks almost surgical. LOL

Experience is the best teacher

I learned several years ago, that when you’re spraying, particularly indoors, you can’t be too careful.

One time I decided that I could do it without the protective gear. I ended up sucking up what seemed like several gallons of paint. Anytime that I coughed or blew my nose for the two weeks following, big chunks of paint would come out.

In retrospect I was lucky that I didn’t coat the whole insides of my lungs with paint and suffocate.

I don’t know if there were any long-term ill side effects. That might explain a lot of things about my behavior.

"Anytime that I coughed or blew my nose"...

that’s what happened to me when I got the brilliant idea to spray paint my fridge “fire engine” red back in 1978! It didn’t occur to me to wear a mask over my nose & mouth, DUH! I did learn my lesson on that experience, so when the decorating whim hit again..I used a roller on the fridge :)
