Worth visiting!

Memories

We lived in Naples when I was very young. Surprisingly, I remember quite a bit about that period. One of my favorite memories is of a small amusement park we used to visit called “Edenlandia” (http://www.edenlandia.it). I remember three specific attractions: the log flume ride (Tronchi), the driving cars (Vecchia America) and the fun house (Maniero Delgi Spettri). My dad tried to get me to go into the fun house every trip, but I was terrified of the face on the front. The eyes rolled around and it made this groaning sound that sounded very much alive to me. To this day I’m scared of things like that, esp. attractions where things pop out at you in the dark. But, I absolutely loved the log flume ride and the cars (I still like these types of rides).

The park is pretty small, compared to Disneyland, for example, but for a little kid who hadn’t seen anything like it before, it was a wonderful world to explore.
