I’ve lived in Kansas all my life… yes, it is different (slower) than the major metro cities in America…and still, very quaint, quiet, and a small piece of ‘Mayberry’...people here know how to treat others… when we ask “how are you?” we truly want to know…always willing to lend a smile or a helping hand…and NO…it’s not all flat…i’m in Emporia….the heart of the Flint Hills, and it’s beauty is true and magestic… hope you all can find its special beauty.
