Worth visiting!
This place has over 35 miles of trails that meander in many directions. Novice to experienced hikers would love this spot. I took a group of 20 Brooklyn teens (almost all of whom have never hiked) on a 3 hour journey through this heavily forrested gem and they loved it!

I’m taking a friend to NY at the end of the year. He’s never been to the States, and I want to show him NY’s more than just Manhattan! Crown Heights is on my list too by the way—I used to work there, miss the Caribbean food:)

Go to Ali’s Roti shop on Utica b/w Union and Crown (I think.) It might be one block over. They have the best roti ever. The lines wind around the block on the weekends. If you are here on the first Saturday of the month, the Brooklyn Museum of Art has a free First Saturday program. It’s always amazing. Enjoy your trip!
