I’ve been there in 2000, not being able to sleep due to jetlag I went out at 3 am of a normal week day…broadway was so crowded as in midday… amazing :)

I’ve been living here for over 15 years (after having lived in Milano). I’m still pleasantly amazed when I come home in the wee hours and have to FIGHT to get a cab and there’s bumper to bumper traffic. Horns honking, people laughing all at 3 am. Oh yea, and you can buy flowers, milk or toilet paper!
