Anyone who moves to California from the Midwest realizes how difficult it can be to find good Greek food out here. Whole Pita is one of the best. Technically in Santa Ana, it’s actually right across the street from South Coast Plaza which is in Costa Mesa. They have a full menu of Greek food, from Gyros to Pasticio to Spanakopita. So far I’ve tried the Gyros and I’m definitely going back! I recommend this to anyone living in the area who loves Greek food. And to anyone who’s never tried Greek before, I encourage you to check it out! I get the feeling most native Californians are really missing out…I mentioned the place to a friend out here and she said “Greek food…is that with curry?” :o
