Worth visiting!

the Little Dippy Hippy Place

This used to be in a house on Shepherd that looked like a little hobbit house (except for not having round doors) and is somewhat of a Houston institution. It was once THE place to go for hippy chow: anything vegetarian, preferably with sprouts. Come to think of it, it still is, although it has gotten more upscale since those hobbit-cottage days.

"They didn't used to have that crap, you know."

I ordered fries the other day, and my dad was pretty disappointed I could do that.

I miss the little house though! Too bad it burned down. :[

YEP :((

CAFE ARTISTE CLOSED ABOUT A MONTH OR SO AGO.

THE OWNER BECAME SICK AND DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE THE BUSINESS;. I’M GUESSING THE ILLNESS WAS RELATED TO THE BUSINESS BECOMING TOO STRESSSFUL

Haven't been there in a couple of months

My daughter will be so disappointed. It was a nice place to sit on the patio and contemplate things.
