If love was god, then your logic would be correct. But you are saying the inverse that god is love. It is irrelevant that god is love, that’s like me saying “Hitler was a human being, therefore you are Hitler.” Learn to use logic before engaging in meaningless arguments.
And why are you speaking of unicorns? Are you serious? Do you actually believe in unicorns? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised because belief in god is equally illogical (i.e. There is absolutely no evidence of his existence). I believe in things based on evidence. I drop something. It falls to the ground. I could think two things: 1) That gravity made the object fall to the ground or 2) that God made it do so. Applying Occam’s razor or just plain common sense would lead me to believe the former. Adding unneccessary complications to things is not a good way to answer a question. Either 1) the universe has always been here or 2) god has always been here and he made the universe which has only been here for a finite period of time. Which is simpler? And when I say the universe I guess I mean the total sum of all mass and energy in the universe, since clearly the universe has only existed for 15 billion years. Mass slowly gets converted to energy, energy degrades (second law of thermodynamics). But the sum of both remains the same.
Are you one of those who doesn’t believe in evolution either? Just use your brain! It’s not that hard a thing to do. Humans have invented god, not the other way around. The human mind has a want to find meaning in things that often don’t. Don’t believe in things blindly just because it makes you feel better. It is infinitely more wonderous to think of things from a scientific standpoint. The way that the universe actually formed is thousands of times more dramatic than the first chapter of genesis.
And the fact that you have 5 children in this day and age is sickening with an already over-populated planet. Thanks for using up resources.
And Jesus? Give me a break, if he were alive today he would be sickened with what Christianity has become. It’s supposed to be about love but all it ever ends up being about is hate. It doesn’t hold society together, it creates strife. The same is true of all religions. Without religion, the cure for cancer may have been found in 800 AD depending on the progresses of the classical civilizations. Instead, religion created the dark ages. So don’t talk about god like it’s a good thing.
