I got a text message from my daughter a few days ago. She was visiting a friend in Denver. The friend lives next door to the Kwik-E-Mart there.

She popped in for a visit and bought a Squishee, some Buzz Cola, and four boxes of Krusty-O’s. I talked to her about it on the phone. She was very excited to say the least.

Now if they could only work out a deal with McDonalds or Burger King to change their name to Krusty Burger. On the plus side, neither chain would have to make substantial menu changes to fit the new name. On the down side though, people might get confused since the name would be such a good fit.

LOL, Russell, that was a good one. Actually, if the Kwik-E-Mart I visited was any indication, McDonalds and/or Burger King would’ve made a mint changing over a few of their stores.

There is a kwik e mart near LA now. I think that they must be opening stores all over the place.

Word on the Street

I heard that there were about a dozen Kwik E Marts scattered around the US and about five in Canada.

I think I’m going to put it on my list of places. Wonder how crowded it’ll be. I drove past it a couple of weeks ago when it just opened and the line was out the door and around the corner. Must be a novelty thing.

That’s quite the line just to visit a convenience store, isn’t it?

The 7-11 people and the people at 20th Century Fox are playing the marketing game for all it’s worth.

I just wish that I could come up with ideas that are this good.

Funny thing is, they dont even need marketing ideas to get people to line up.

Last time I waited two hours at the 7-11 to obtain some of those fine hot dogs they have twirling there.

Your time has come and gone. I think they were only gonna be that way until July 27th, when the Simpson Movie officially opened.
