My boyfriend and I vitited D.C. in Febuary of 2000. No crowds or waiting anywhere. We went throught the White House twice because there wasn’t a line.

We stayed mainly in the mall area. We spent every day of that week in a different museum or monument.

I’m glad I saw it when I did. It is probably harder to get around now.
