I had heard there was a chocolate factory in Chicago. After Lollapalooza 2006 we were walking around The Loop when I friend exclaimed “I smell big chocolate chip COOKIES. I smell cookies.” We all laughed at her because no one else did. I smelled it. I just pretended I thought she was going crazy with the rest of the gang.

When I bought a bike I rode by Blommer Chocolate almost every day on my cummute downtown.

Today I drove by and we checked out the retail store, tasted chocolate and bought some take home goodies.

This place is just fantastic. And cheap. if you like chocolate.. BUY IT FROM THE SOURCE!! nothing beats a simple baggie between you and the manufacturer. You can afford WAY more chocolate!
