The only thing missing would have been a sign with Apu’s picture by the magazines saying, “this is not a reading library.”

Glad you got to see the Kwik-E-Mart! Did you go to the one in Burbank? They did have a sign like that on the magazine section (pictured above), but it didn’t have Apu’s picture with it. Maybe someone took it off before you had the chance to see it.
