It was the most awesome place I have been so far. Deep Ellum is so much fun. You park somewhere in the middle and walk for blocks and blocks and there are tons of people. So many clubs you can’t visit them all in one night for sure. During the day, it is still pretty. Murals line the streets. I would send everyone I know there at least once.

Having lived in Dallas all my life, I am still drawn to the streets of Deep Ellum. I even wrote a short story about it that is pending publishing right now :)

There’s only one thing you ever have to worry about in Deep Ellum, and that’s the crime between midnight and dawn. Dallas isn’t exactly known for its moral fabric, but as long as you stay alert during that walk back to your car, you should be perfectly fine.
There’s no denying that Deep Ellum is the heart and soul of the Dallas nightlife.
